About Product Search

  • GOODS EXPRESS has various search methods. Please make use of them.

About Ordering
  • Please tell me how to calculate the delivery time.
  • The delivery date shown on the website and the delivery date before you place an official order are rough estimates. We will inform you of the official delivery date after we receive your order and data submission, and after we confirm the proof images or the prototype.

  • What is the official order date?
  • The official order date is the date when we have confirmed the order details, registered the delivery address, confirmed the Terms and Conditions, and received your payment.

  • How long does it take to confirm the proof image (PDF)?
  • We will send you the proof image (PDF) by Email in about 2 business days after the data is submitted.

  • Can I order less than the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
  • No. We do not accept orders for less than the minimum order quantity (MOQ) indicated on this website.

  • If I want to make my products in different colors, to what extent can I get the same price?
  • Please see the options for each product.

About Payment
  • What is the deadline for payment?
  • In principle, payment must be made in advance. Please make payment at the time of data submission.

  • Can you issue a receipt?
  • Yes, we can issue an electronic receipt.

About Templates
  • Is there a GOODS EXPRESS designated template?
  • Please download the data for the relevant product from the “Templates for Submission” menu on the upper side of the page. Alternatively, you can download from “Template Download” on each product page.

  • Can I use templates from other companies?
  • We recommend using GOODS EXPRESS templates for submission. Any differences in the finished product will not be covered by the warranty if you use another company’s template or your own design data. Please contact us for products for which no template is available.

About Data Preparation
  • Is there a recommended version of software for creating design data/ artwork?
  • Please use Illustrator (Ver. CS6 or higher) and save the data in “.ai” format.

  • What is "complete data"?
  • “Complete data” is finished, print-ready production data that does not require any modifications. There are essential checkpoints to confirm whether the production data is print-ready for each application. Please check carefully before submitting data.

  • Should I produce data in CMYK or RGB?
  • Please make sure to create design data in CMYK color mode.If the data is submitted in RGB color mode, it will be automatically converted to CMYK color. Since it is converted, there will be a difference between the color on the PC monitor and the color after printing, and the finished product will be dull. This is unavoidable because the color gamut reproduced is different between RGB color and CMYK color. We ask for your understanding.

  • What is the difference between CMYK and RGB?
  • RGB is called the three primary colors of light. It is called additive color mixing.
    The three colors are R (Red), G (Green), and B (Blue), and TV and computer displays are expressed in RGB. CMYK is a coloring method mainly used for printing, that uses the three primary colors of cyan, magenta, and yellow. The more colors are mixed, the darker and closer to black the color becomes. This is called subtractive color mixing. CMYK mode is used for color printing. This is why colors look different on a PC.

  • To what extent can the fineness of lines and margins be reproduced?
  • It depends on the product and specifications, but in principle, we recommend a size of 2 mm or more. Please download the template for more details.

  • Do I need to fill in the design data?
  • It depends on the product. Please check the template for details. If the submitted data is incomplete, we will inform you of the need to resubmit the data. Please note that printing discrepancies may occur depending on the product.

  • What is outlining?
  • Outlining is the process of converting text data into object data. This work is necessary to prevent problems caused by font replacement. Please be sure to submit all text in outline form.

    *If you submit the data without outlining the characters, they may be replaced by different fonts or be out of alignment.

  • Is it OK to use enlarged images in the data?
  • Enlarged images may have a lower resolution.Please make sure that the image is created at the optimum resolution for printing.

  • What is path data in Illustrator?
  • Path data is an image composed of data such as the coordinates of points and the lines connecting them. Path data has features such as “graphics do not become rough even when scaled up or down,” “deformation processing is easy,” and “beautiful shapes can be drawn easily.

  • What is a color number? Where can I check?
  • Pantone is a color numbering system that is commonly recognized by overseas factories.
    We do not have color samples, but you can check them on the Internet or in commercially available color sample books. When specifying PANTONE colors, please choose from the “PANTONE Solid Coated Series”. PANTONE XXXXC, PANTONE○○○○C, etc. will have a “C” at the end. (The “○” is a 3 or 4-digit number.)

  • Can I use any file name?
  • The file name of the design data must be 8 single-byte alphanumeric characters and must include an extension. (eps/tif/ai/…). Please do not use file names that contain hiragana, katakana, or kanji characters, as they will be garbled.

  • Is it possible for you to check for character errors, design errors, etc.?
  • We will check the submitted data to see if it can be manufactured. We do not check for design errors such as character errors or design mistakes. Please check carefully before submitting data.

  • I think the color of the finished product is slightly different from the design data. Also, when I place an additional order, the color seems to have changed a little.
  • Slight changes may occur due to the settings of the equipment used in the production of the product, individual differences in the printing machine, and other factors. Please understand that we may not be able to accept requests regarding exact color tones.

  • I cannot create my artwork in AI or PSD files. I have JPG data, can you design it for me?
  • Illustrator pass data is required for submission to the factory. If you only have JPG data, you cannot submit it to the factory. If it is difficult to create the data in Illustrator, we can provide a design service on your behalf. The cost will vary depending on the design, but will start from 5,000 yen. (In the case of a simple text and layout production service). If you provide us with images or materials of your design, we will confirm the cost of designing on your behalf.

About Submission
  • How do I submit my artwork?
  • Please refer to the “About Submission” section of the “User’s Guide.

  • Can I check the data to be submitted?
  • We always ask our customers to check the proof image (PDF or jpg) before receiving mass production instructions. If there are any corrections or replacements, please re-submit the data. We will create the proof image again, and we will inform you of the delivery date again after confirming the proof image after re-submission.

  • Can I replace the submitted data?
  • Yes, you can re-submit or modify the data until we receive your instructions for mass production after the proof data is confirmed or after the prototype is confirmed. We will create the proof images again, so please be aware of the change in delivery time. Cancellation after confirmation of the proof data will incur a cancellation fee. Also, re-submission or cancellation is not possible after mass production instructions have been given. The full amount of the product price will be charged even in the case of cancellation.

About Order Changes and Cancellations
  • Can I cancel an order?
  • Cancellation after confirmation of the configuration data will incur a cancellation fee. Cancellation is not possible after mass production has been ordered. In case of cancellation, the full amount of the product will be charged.

  • Can I make changes to my order?
  • Changes to an order after the configuration data has been confirmed will incur a cancellation fee. Also, once mass production has been ordered, order details cannot be changed. If you wish to change the contents of an order, the full amount of the product will be charged.

About other services
  • Is there any chance that the price will be different from the price on the price list?
  • The price list on this website is for reference only. Prices may differ from those shown due to exchange rate fluctuations, complex specifications, etc.

  • Can you make prototypes?
  • For most products, we can provide photo confirmation and physical confirmation of prototypes, but there is an additional charge for this service. Please inquire for each product. Also, if you need to change the design after confirming the prototype, there will be an additional charge and delivery time.

  • If I want to speed up the delivery date, can I shorten the delivery date with an express charge?
  • It is possible to finish earlier than the basic production period depending on the product. If you have decided on the product and specifications, please contact us for the delivery date.
